With remarkable confidence and English fluency, Postma David Minh Luan, an English major from Van Hien University's Faculty of Foreign Languages, stood out among contestants to join the Top 9 finalists of the “2025 English Speaking Contest”, held by the Ho Chi Minh City Student Association on May 17, 2025.
As a part of the Final Round, during the opening day of English Camp 2025 held at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Minh Luan took on the role of “Young Leader representing the Philippines” in the Model ASEAN Youth Leaders Conference (MAYLC). With an impressive performance, an insightful presentation, and a great sense of responsibility, he proposed practical solutions to address environmental issues and was honored with a Consolation Prize - a commendable and meaningful achievement.
The faculty would like to express its sincere gratitude to Ms. Do Thi Bich Thuy, MA - also a lecturer of the faculty - for her continued support and dedicated role as an academic advisor to Minh Luan throughout the competition. Her enthusiastic guidance served as great motivation, which empowered Minh Luan to show his abilities in this academic arena confidently.
