On September 23 and 24, 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Van Hien University successfully organized the event 'Meet with Freshmen – Cohort 28' in a joyful and vibrant atmosphere. The ceremony marked an important milestone - beginning the academic journey, training, and development of freshmen from the English, Chinese, Japanese, and French Language programs. More than a simple orientation, the event served as a meaningful opportunity for students to engage with faculty members, gain insights into their chosen fields of study, and shape their visions for future career paths.
As part of the ceremony, the Faculty Board and teaching staff provided an overview of the curriculum, teaching approaches, academic orientations, and study–research opportunities available to students. This helped the freshmen gain a more comprehensive understanding of their chosen majors, as well as a clearer awareness of the role of foreign languages in today’s context of globalization.
The highlight of the program was the Talkshow session featuring an exchange between lecturers, outstanding alumni, and representatives from businesses – individuals who have achieved success in both their studies and careers. Their sincere and practical sharing on learning experiences, professional skills, job opportunities, and labor market requirements provided Cohort 28 students with valuable lessons and strong inspiration for the journey ahead.
Beyond the professional sharing, the event also left a lasting impression through the meaningful interactions and connections between different generations of students. Lively musical performances, engaging interactive games, and memorable photo-taking moments all contributed to creating a friendly and cohesive atmosphere – where freshmen could truly feel the unity, warmth, and positive energy of the Faculty of Foreign Languages family. The “Meet the Freshmen – Cohort 28” program was not only a warm welcome for the new students but also a reflection of the tradition of solidarity, dedication, and creativity that has long characterized the lecturers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Van Hien University. With this strong foundation, the Faculty believes that the K28 freshmen will continue to uphold a spirit of learning, actively embrace integration and self-development, step by step conquer knowledge, nurture their passion, and affirm the confidence and identity of Van Hien students on their journey toward global integration.
