On the morning of August 23, 2025, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Van Hien University solemnly organized the Symposium on Student Scientific Research, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Academic Year 2024–2025" with the participation of the Executive Board, the Board of Directors of the Faculty, lecturers and a large number of students majoring in English, French, Chinese and Japanese.
In opening remarks, Dr. Le Si Hai – Executive Director of Van Hien University, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages – emphasized the role of scientific research in academic development and encouraged students to continue to promote the spirit of creativity and lifelong learning.
The conference was divided into the following 03 professional subcommittees:
- Subcommittee 1: Issues related to Western language and culture
- Subcommittee 2: Issues related to Chinese language and culture
- Subcommittee 3: Issues related to Japanese language and culture
At the conference, the students presented many interesting and highly applicable research topics. Typically, there are studies on the differences between English and Vietnamese morphology, the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve English speaking and reading skills, the impact of ChatGPT on writing skills, as well as the influence of extracurricular activities on students' academic achievement.
The honors and awards recognized the dedication of the instructors as well as the outstanding achievements of the excellent student research teams. The success of high-quality presentations was not only the result of students’ efforts but also the quiet yet invaluable guidance of faculty members who supervised the projects. This year's conference is extremely honored to honor lecturers who have made many significant contributions to guiding students’ scientific research, as a sincere expression of gratitude:

Congratulations to the Faculty of Foreign Languages for successfully organizing the "Conference on Scientific Research Report for Students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages for the academic year 2024 – 2025", which created a useful academic forum for students to demonstrate their creative thinking, research ability and spirit of learning.
