Students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages shine at the 5th “Chinese Calligraphy Competition – Guangxi University for Nationalities 2025”

In recent years, students from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, especially those majoring in Chinese Language, have consistently demonstrated their abilities and determination through academic activities, cultural exchanges, and international platforms. The impressive achievements at the “Chinese Calligraphy Competition,” organized by Guangxi University for Nationalities (China) recently, further highlight these efforts and remarkable progress.
Van Hien students showcased their excellence in the field of calligraphy, a distinctive cultural symbol of China. On November 6, 2025, Guangxi University for Nationalities hosted the 5th “Chinese Calligraphy Competition,” attracting nearly 100 international contestants from countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, South Korea, and various African nations. Each contestant was required to complete the entire creative process within a limited time, from folding paper and mixing ink to drawing grids, writing characters, and presenting the final artwork. This was a challenge that demanded meticulous attention, patience, and the ability to combine skill with artistic expression.
In this competition, Van Hien students made a strong impression on the judges with their refined writing style, soft strokes, and profound content. As a result, they achieved impressive accomplishments:
Special Prize: Ly Hong Kien, Le Dinh Man – also won 2 tickets to attend the provincial final round in Hechi City, Guangxi.
First Prize: Le Nguyen Nhu Tuong, Duong Thi My Tien, Pham Thi Thanh Thu.
Third Prize: Huynh Thuy Vy, Mai Thi Anh Nguyet.
