On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teacher’s Day on November 20th, the Faculty of Foreign Languages participated in the lesson design competition organized by Van Hien University. This is a special academic activity designed to honor the efforts of the teaching staff in innovating teaching methods. This year's competition is not only a professional platform but also a place to connect, interact, and spread teaching inspiration throughout the entire ecosystem of Van Hien University.
As soon as the competition was launched, the Organizing Committee received enthusiastic support from the teaching staff. The submitted lectures were carefully crafted, from content structure to illustrative design, incorporating modern technology and demonstrating a clear, positive pedagogical mindset. This reflects the lecturers’ commitment to improving the quality of their lectures as well as their expectation to share advanced teaching methods that meet the learners’ needs in a constantly evolving educational context.
From November 16 to 18, 2025, the contestants entered the second round of the competition. In this round, each individual or group had a maximum of 45 minutes to present their lecture to the judging panel. Many performances left a strong impression due to their logical structure, the application of active teaching methods, integration of technology, as well as the ability to engage learners through interactive activities and real-life situations. The lecturers not only brought specialized knowledge but also conveyed the spirit of innovation – a crucial factor in enhancing the quality of education and making modern university classrooms more attractive.
The atmosphere of the final round, held on November 19, 2025, became particularly lively and emotional. This was the time when the best lectures were selected to proceed to the live presentation phase, which lasted 20 minutes. Although the time was shorter and the pressure higher, each contestant group displayed professionalism and confidence. Creative teaching ideas and flexible approaches made the competition round both captivating and academically rich.
After a thorough and impartial process, the judging panel selected the most outstanding lectures. The first prize was awarded to the team of lecturers from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, comprising Ms. Le Thi Thanh Tam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mo, and Ms. Le Nguyen Thanh Truc.

The team of lecturers, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Tam, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mo, and Ms. Le Nguyen Thanh Truc, won the first prize in the competition
The team from the Faculty of Foreign Languages was highly praised for its excellent balance between rigorous subject content, dynamic teaching methods, and the ability to create a strong connection with learners. The creativity in problem framing, the use of technology in the lecture, and the ability to generate interactive activities helped the performance stand out compared to other contestants. The team’s presentation was not only convincing but also inspiring, reflecting the spirit of “innovation for development” that the competition aimed to promote.
Besides the first prize, the Organizing Committee also awarded second, third, and consolation prizes to lecturers with outstanding performances. Although the results varied, each lecture presented in the competition demonstrated serious effort, responsible investment, and a progressive spirit in the profession. This competition has become a platform for lecturers to learn from one another, exchange methods, foster creativity, and continually enhance the value of teaching activities throughout the university.
