Van Hien University has officially become a member of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) after the University's membership application was approved by the AUF Board of Directors during its meeting on March 27, 2026. This is not only a great joy for the University's faculty, staff, and students but also a clear testament to VHU's continuous efforts in enhancing educational quality, expanding international cooperation, and building a modern, integrated educational environment.
AUF is currently one of the largest higher education networks in the world, bringing together over 1,000 higher education institutions and research centers across more than 120 countries and territories. With the mission of promoting education, research, innovation, and the development of the global Francophone community, AUF has become a crucial bridge between universities, research institutes, and international academic organizations.
Under the approval decision, Van Hien University has been recognized as an Associate Member of the AUF. In this capacity, the University has the opportunity to participate in the AUF General Assembly with consultative voting rights, while gaining access to funding programs, international calls for projects, and various academic, research, and training activities organized by the AUF.
Joining AUF opens up numerous practical development opportunities for Van Hien's faculty, researchers, and students.
