During the experience session, students had the opportunity to visit and engage in practical learning at the Institute of Cultural Exchange with France (IDECAF), located at 31 Thai Van Lung Street, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The activity was conducted directly at the institution under the guidance and supervision of the responsible lecturer, enabling students to observe and explore the working environment in an authentic manner. At the institute, students were introduced by representatives of the organization to its history and development, organizational structure, functions and responsibilities of different departments, as well as the fields of operation and services currently provided. Through these presentations, students gained a clearer understanding of a professional, internationally oriented working environment and the high requirements for language proficiency, especially English, in communication and professional tasks.

In addition, students were able to observe the working processes of staff members at the institution, learn about coordination among departments in handling tasks, and understand how responsibilities are organized and assigned in a real workplace. These experiences helped students connect theoretical knowledge acquired in classrooms with practical professional requirements, thereby enhancing their awareness of the roles, skills, and attitudes needed for careers in language and cultural service fields.

The experiential activity brought many practical benefits to students, not only by expanding their understanding of career fields but also by motivating them to study more actively, identify personal goals, and develop their career orientations from their early academic years. At the same time, it was also an opportunity for students to cultivate professional manners, discipline, and a learning mindset in a professional working environment. The career experience session concluded in a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere, leaving many good impressions on participating students. This activity continues to affirm the efforts of Van Hien University in connecting theoretical education with practice, contributing to improving learning quality and students’ career adaptability in the current context of global integration.
